PURPOSE:To improve the fastness of yellow dye images or cyan dye images by incorporating a specific compd. into at least one layer of a cyan dye forming layer, yellow dye forming layer and the adjacent layers thereof. CONSTITUTION:The compd. expressed by the formula [I] is incorporated into at least one layer of the yellow dye forming layer, the cyan dye forming layer and the adjacent layer thereof. In the formula, R1, R2 and R3 denote a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc.; R1 and R2 may form 5- to 8-membered heterocycles together with a nitrogen atom by bonding to each other; the total sum of the carbon atoms of R1, R2 and R3 is >=8 pieces; X denotes an oxygen atom or sulfur atom. While the content of the compd. expressed by the formula [I] varies with the kinds of the couplers to be used in combination, the content is in a 5 to 400mol% range of the coupler. The effect of preventing color fading is extremely low if the content is below this range. The progression of development is hindered and the decrease of coloring densities is liable to arise if the content is too high. The fastness of the cyan dye images or yellow dye images to light and heat is improved in this way. |
