PURPOSE:To permit fine adjustment of die clamping force in a device which can adjust the die clamping force by turning of column nuts by connecting a pitch driving device through a clutch to a shaft for transmitting driving power for rotation of the nuts. CONSTITUTION:In the case of adjusting die clamping force, an electric power source for an electromagnetic clutch 10 is turned off to actuate a clutch 10 so that a shaft 9 and a pinion 12 rotates integrally. Working fluid is supplied to a cylinder case 15 on the side where a rod 16 is moved so as to rotate the shaft 9 in a desired direction. As the working fluid is supplied, the rod 16 is moved by a ram part, and a pinion 12 is rotated by a rack gear 17 according to the stroke of the rod, whereby a chain wheel 7b is rotated. Therefore, a chain 8 is rotated slightly, by which respective column nuts 4 are slightly rotated and a movable die is moved slightly. If necessary, the above-mentioned pitch driving is repeated plural times until the prescribed die clamping force is obtained. |
