<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthodontic member having a high density, a high quality, a wide selectability for the material and even a complicated form which is easily manufacturable, and to provide a method for manufacturing the orthodontic member. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the orthodontic member comprises a step 1A of manufacturing a long compact containing a raw powder (a metal powder or a ceramic powder) by extrusion, a step 2A of cutting the long compact into a predetermined length, a step 3A of degreasing the cut compact to obtain a degreased body, and a step 4A of sintering the degreased body to obtain the sintered compact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
