BACKUP/RESTORATION SYSTEM AND RIGHT MANAGEMENT SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup/restoration system capable recovering backup data even in the case of a failure of a backup execution terminal.

SOLUTION: The terminal 140 attaches a part or the whole of a client ID and LT to a backup request to transmit them to a right management server 710. The right management server 710 determines whether a request source is a registered user or not from the client ID and determines whether right data are issued to the registered user by itself or not from a data identification ID of the LT. When the right data are issued by the management server itself, the right data are backed up. The terminal 140 attaches the client ID to a restoration request to transmit them to the right management server 710. The right management server 710 investigates the user ID from the client ID and restores the right data backed up in association with the user ID to the terminal 140.
