<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make commodity information for a commodity to be sold easily acquirable at any time. <P>SOLUTION: This system comprises a cellular phone device 2 having a bar code reader 3 connected thereto, and a commodity information retrieval device 13 having a database 11 for accumulating commodity identification information related to a bar code attached to each commodity and commodity information related to each commodity identification information, a communicating means 12 for communicating with the cellular phone device with the bar code reader 3 connected thereto, and a retrieval means 13 for retrieving, in response to a commodity retrieval request from the cellular phone device 2, the database 11 based on the bar code read by the bar code reader 3 and returning it thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
