PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect tier slips by removing offsets of a slip factor and a slip velocity. SOLUTION: A high-pass filter circuit 13 performs high-pass filter processing on a driving wheel slip factor S computed by a circuit 12 for computing the driving wheel slip factor. A cut-off frequency (f) of the high-pass filter circuit 13 is expressed by a response frequency between a lowμroad and a tire. A circuit 14 for detecting driving wheel slips determines whether the absolute value of a driving wheel slip factorλH already processed by the high-pass filter processing is larger than a predetermined thresholdβor not, and determines the presence of a tire slip when the absolute value is large than the predetermined thresholdβ.
