PURPOSE: Provided are a method and a device for washing vegetables and fruits using ionized water, thereby neutralizing toxicity of preservatives and agricultural chemicals applied to vegetables and fruits within a short time. CONSTITUTION: A method for washing vegetables and fruits using ionized water comprises the steps of: inserting vegetables, fruits and ionized water in a water tank; generating ionized gas using plasma; ventilating the ionized gas into the water tank to generate ionized water and washing and sterilizing the vegetables and fruits using the ionized water; dewatering and drying the washed vegetables and fruits; and packing them.
