The fuel injector for a motor vehicle internal combustion engine has a fuel injector (10) and a water injector (12) in a common module. The module has annular supports (14,18) with ejection openings. The annular module surrounds the fuel injector. An annular water feed duct in the support has a distributor ring passage for two ejection openings. A non-return valve prevents flow return from the ejection openings.
