<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote education system, in which an assignment is transmitted to a learner and a learner's answer to the assignment is marked and corrected, enabling efficient processing of the answer to the assignment including a descriptive question. <P>SOLUTION: In the remote education system 1, the assignment is transmitted to a plurality of learners and the answer transmitted from the learner in accordance with the assignment is marked. An education system server 2 transmits the assignment including multiple-choice questions and descriptive questions to a learner terminal 3. When the education server 2 receives a report transmitted from the learner terminal 3 on the transmitted assignment, the answer to the multiple-choice question is marked out of the received reports and multiple-choice question correction result is generated. Out of the reports, correction of the answer to the descriptive question is assigned to a plurality of teacher terminals 4, and descriptive question marking result after correction by the teacher terminal 4 is obtained.
