PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element cooler for further smoothly performing a movement and convection of warmed outside air, and the inflow of new air to a heat radiating fin, and attaining further superior heat radiating efficiency. SOLUTION: This element cooler is composed of a heat sink. The heat sink is composed of a pair of heat receiving blocks installed by sandwiching a heating element, one or more heat pipes mutually projecting in almost parallel, respectively opposing and sandwiching the heating element from the pair of heat receiving bocks, and the heat radiating fin installed in the heat pipes. The heat pipes are arranged in the vertical direction, and the heat radiating fin is obliquely installed downward and outward from the heating element side. The opposed heat pipes mutually projecting in almost parallel are obliquely arranged against the vertical direction while mutually holding almost parallel.
