CASE OR EXTERIOR COMPONENT FOR CASE AND THEIR MANUFACTURING METHODS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case or an exterior component for case on which a highly ornamental display layer having a minute shape and composed of various colors is formed easily with high productivity, and to provide methods of manufacturing the case and exterior component. SOLUTION: A display plate (exterior component for case) 10 is attached to part of the case constituting the external surface of equipment. The plate 10 is constituted by attaching a first film plate 20 and a second film plate 40, both of which are composed of flexible resin films, to the front and rear surfaces of a main body section 30 made of a molded resin so as to cover the section 30. Both film plates 20 and 40 are transparent and respectively have ornamental layers 21 and 41. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
