PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic aliphatic polyamide elastomer which excels in toughness such as flexural strength and flexural modulus, and properties such as resistance to flexing fatigue and transparency. SOLUTION: The polyamide elastomer is obtained by polymerizing (A) an aliphatic polyamide-forming monomer, (B) an ABA-type triblock polyetherdiamine to be represented by formula (1) (wherein x is 2-6; y is 6-12; and z is 1-5), and (C) a dicarboxylic acid to be represented by the formula (2): HOOC-(-R<SP>1</SP>-)<SB>m</SB>-COOH (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a molecular chain of a 1-20C hydrocarbon or a 1-20C alkylene group; and m is 0 or 1), and has 45-80 wt.% component (A) and 20-55 wt.% sum of component (B) and component (C) (provided that the sum of component (A), component (B), and component (C) is 100 wt.%).
