PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a web with more highly unidirectionally arranged filaments. SOLUTION: A web production machine comprises a melt bow die 3 parallel arranged with many nozzles via which a molten polymer is extruded as filaments 4 and a conveyor 1 for collecting the filaments 4 extruded via the nozzles 2 and conveying them, wherein the conveyor 1 itself is subjected to reciprocating movement parallel to the conveying direction of the filaments 4 in a horizontal plane.
