PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an entire device in comparison with a conventional device using a belt-type transporting means. SOLUTION: A feeding-in unit A, bill storing parts by kinds of money B, C, D, a discharging unit E and the like are arranged in a state of surrounding an outer periphery of a transport drum 1. A go-around bill transport passage 4 is formed at the outer periphery of the transport drum 1. The transport drum 1 has a rotary drum rotated in the forward and backward directions by a driving motor 2, and the bills are transported in a state of being held between the rotary drum and a plurality of pressing rollers 3. Connection bill transporting passages 6a-6g are formed for respectively connecting each part A-G such as the feeding-in unit and the go-around transport passage 4. Passage switching means 7a-7g are mounted for switching the bill transport passage between the go-around transport passage 4 and each of connection transport passages 6a-6g. The go-around transport passage 4 is provided with a discrimination sensor 5 for discriminating the kind of money of the bill passing through the go-around transport passage 4.
