PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor with a long life in a high temperature, in which no corrosion occurs even in a high-temperature long time test at 150°C, and to provide the manufacturing method therefore. SOLUTION: In the electrolytic capacitor, anode foil, cathode foil and a separator are wound to form a capacitor element which is impregnated with a driving electrolyte, which is housed in a jacket case. An opening of the jacket case is sealed up with a sealing member. Since an inorganic ion-exchanger sticks to at least the end surface of the capacitor element, no corrosion occurs even in usage at such a high temperature as 150°C, so that the electrolytic capacitor with high durability and a manufacturing method therefore are obtained.
