<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a seal member to a nut by a simple means without applying mechanical machining to the nut itself. <P>SOLUTION: This seal device is formed by installing the seal member 17 composed of an elastic material in an end part of the nut 13 of a ball screw for converting rotational motive power into shaft directional thrust between a screw shaft 11 and the nut 13 by arranging a ball 15 between a spiral groove 12 of the screw shaft 11 and a spiral groove 14 of the nut 13, and is formed as a structure that a hole 19 running in the nut shaft direction is bored in the seal member 17 as a seal fixing means for pressing a seal outer diameter to a nut inner diameter by elastically deforming the seal member 17, and a pin 20 having a diameter larger than an inner diameter of the hole 19 is pressed in the hole 19 of the seal member 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
