<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance service method which enables an efficient maintenance service job and the simple and correct maintenance for a device by a maintenance service staff with a low level of skill. <P>SOLUTION: In the scheduled maintenance or troubleshooting maintenance, data regarding a feedback value for image control parameter for a printer and the parameter to indicate a working status or failure, a paper jam on the printer are transmitted to an information processing means of a centralized management section of a maker or a maintenance management service contractor via a communication means.
