PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a brush holder to a bracket, without using threads and improve the strength for insulating properties of a ground side pigtail and vibration. SOLUTION: A brush holder fixing part 31 is provided between a rear bracket 5 and the brush holder 22. A positioning protrusion 32 is provided on the bottom of the rear bracket 5 and is fitted into a positioning hole 33 of the brush holder 22. A latching piece 37 of a ground terminal 24 is brought into contact with the end surface of the brush holder 22, and a fitting hole 38 in the latching piece 37 is fitted into the positioning protrusion 32. Length L of an extension piece 36, on which the latching piece 37 is formed, is set so as to be larger than a distance H between the end surface position of the brush holder 22 and the end surface position of the ground terminal 24, and the latching piece 37 is brought into contact with the brush holder 22 and fixes the brush holder 22 in the axial direction. The ground terminal 24 is formed into a ring shape and is sandwiched between a rear bracket 5 and a yoke 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
