PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe having a connection strength between a piezoelectric element and an electrode and having excellent acoustic characteristics, and to provide a manufacturing method of the ultrasonic probe. SOLUTION: An adhesive layer for supporting a non-vibration region of an ultrasonic vibrator with a resin having high acoustic connection and supporting a vibration region of the vibrator with a resin having low acoustic connection is provided between these vibrators. In manufacturing the ultrasonic probe having this adhesive layer for a first adhesive applied to the vibration or non-vibration region of the piezoelectric element, the one having a viscosity at which the adhesive can be prevented from flowing from the vibration region to the non-vibration region of the piezoelectric element 121 or vice versa is used.
