<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of variably controlling a narrow viewing angle and a wide viewing angle without lowering extremely the utilization efficiency of illuminating light. <P>SOLUTION: A display device capable of changing a viewing angle is constituted by arranging a first optical element having a refractive index and a second optical element having a refractive index for roughly cancelling the refractive index of the first optical element at the front of a display for forming an image and by changing the relative position between the first optical element and the second optical element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
