A method of confirming the user rights of a file loadable into a terminal. The file is loaded into the terminal comprising the user identifier, and the user of the terminal is requested to acknowledge the licence code defined for the file. The licence code acknowledged by the user and the terminal identifier of said terminal and the user identifier are compared with the registered licence code, first terminal identifier and first user identifier, and if the licence code acknowledged by the user matches the registered licence code, and at most one of the following identifiers: the terminal identifier of the terminal, the user identifier comprised by the terminal, does not match the first terminal identifier and the first user identifier, the file is accepted for use in the terminal.
