<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home electric appliance networking system and a control method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises an IP sharing means 10 and a plurality of communication processing sections T1-Tn. The means 10 assigns private IP addresses or port numbers to home electric appliances H1-Hn constructed for the home networking system, and is assigned with a public certified IP address so as to be capable of being accessed from an external network. The sections T1-Tn are connected to product controllers C1-Cn of the home electric appliances so as to store information about the private IP addresses assigned by the means 10, and to enable an internal networking L1 and the appliances H1-Hn in the home networking system to transmit and receive data on the basis of the private IP addresses or the port numbers. In this way, the home electric appliance networking system for efficiently operating the home networking system can be constructed in a simpler manner and at a low cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
