PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil production method of a cable-in-conduit type superconductive body for lowering an AC loss caused by induction current generated between superconductive wires at impression of variable magnetic field. SOLUTION: In producing a coil by a wind-and-react method with the cable- in-conduit type superconductive body consisting of chrome-coated compound superconductive wires, a bending or twisting distortion of 0.15 to 0.3% is impressed on a conductive cable part after heat treatment for compound generation, and then, by returning the bending or twisting distortion back to 0.1% or less, the wires of which the chrome coating is sintered at heat treatment are separated. With this, the AC loss of the superconductive coil is lowered. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
