PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary vane type Darrieus type wind power generator capable of speedily coping with change of wind directions and wind speed, having resistance to strong wind of a typhoon or the like, reducing noise and vibration, being eco-friendly to human and animals, achieving strong wind power collecting capability, and achieving profitability, which can be installed in an urban area. SOLUTION: Wind is efficiently fed to a Darrieus type windmill at the optimum angle by rotary vanes with a vertical tail. A vibrator installed on a vertical shaft of the Darrieus type windmill rotates the Darrieus type windmill through gears. When strong wind of a typhoon or the like occurs, rotation of the windmill can be stopped by means of a shutter at a front part of the rotary vane. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
