摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a negative electrode enhancing load characteristics even if a binder containing a hydrophilic compound is used, and to provide a method of manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the negative electrode and shortening the battery manufacturing time. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a nonaqueous solvent and an electrolyte salt comprises processes of, mixing a negative active material with a hydrophobic solvent to attach the hydrophobic solvent to the negative active material, mixing the negative active material to which the hydrophobic solvent is attached, the binder containing the hydrophilic compound with a solvent to prepare a negative active material slurry, applying the negative active material slurry to a negative electrode core body, and drying the negative electrode core body coated with the negative active material slurry and pressing the dried negative electrode core body to manufacture the negative electrode.
