PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device in which a maintenance signal is used for remote control of an apparatus, or a remote control system including the relay device. SOLUTION: The relay device 80, which is inserted between the apparatus 20 and a remote controller 70, can process commands issued from connection means 82, 83, 84 for the remote controller and a device connected to a maintenance terminal, by priority setting means 95, 96, 97 without delay of command to an original device.
