PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker apparatus capable of reproducing a bass signal with a frequency characteristic as flat as possible while it is small. SOLUTION: The speaker apparatus is provided with an acoustic volume portion, an acoustic tube mounted on the volume portion, and a driving speaker mounted on the volume portion. The resonation frequency of the tube is set at a value higher than a Helmholtz resonance frequency generated by the volume portion and the tube by 0.5-2.5 octave. A Helmholtz resonator is formed by the volume portion and the tube, and resonates at a prescribed Helmholtz resonance frequency. Also, the tube itself has a resonance frequency. In this apparatus, by setting the resonance frequency of the tube itself at the value higher than the resonance frequency of the Helmholtz frequency by 0.5-2.5 octave, the speaker apparatus emitting continuous bands from the Helmholtz resonance frequency to the resonance frequency of the tube can be obtained.
