PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car audio system capable of allowing a user to capture sound waves emitted from speakers with a natural feeling, and reducing cost. SOLUTION: In the car audio system 30, right and left sound generating units 31, 41 are provided on the lower part of an instrument panel 16. Horn bases 33, 43 are connected to the units 31, 41 respectively so that the bases 33, 43 in right and left face the gap between a front portion 17a of an upper surface 17 of the panel 16 and a lower portion 14a of a front window glass 14. A horn main body 36 is formed by the glass 14 and the panel 16, and a horn 32 is formed by the bases 33, 43 in right and left and the body 36. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
