PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic printing device capable of giving a more unexpected effect to an image to be printed. SOLUTION: The photographic printing device 10 for taking the picture of a subject and printing a taken picture is provided with curtains 31a and 31b constituting a background surface which becomes the background of the subject, background illuminators 23a and 23b illuminating the curtains 31a and 31b and emitting the different kind of light each other, and a partitioning member positioned on the background surface constituted of the curtains 31a and 31b, dividing the background surface corresponding to the illuminators 23a and 23b, and interrupting the entrance of the light from the illuminators 23a and 23b into an area other than areas corresponding to the illuminators.
