PURPOSE: A voltage generation circuit is provided to generate a stable output voltage without regard to an external voltage variation. CONSTITUTION: A voltage comparison circuit(1310) operates in response to an enable signal(ENS), and outputs an output voltage to a control node in response to a voltage difference between a reference voltage and an internal voltage. An internal voltage control circuit(1340) receives an external voltage and is connected to the above control node, and controls a voltage level of the internal voltage applied to a load in response to a voltage value of the control node. And a clamp circuit(1350) controls the intensity of a driving current flowing through the internal voltage control circuit by controlling the voltage value of the control node.
