Vinca hydrazone conjugates of formula (I) are prepd., where R2= H, CH3 or CHO; R5= H and one of R3 and R4 is Et and the other is H or OH or R4 and R5 together with the Cs to which they are attached from an oxirane ring in which case R3 is Et; R1= H, (C1-3 alkyl)-CO, or chloro substd. (C1-3 alkyl)-CO; m = 1-25; GP= an oxidized glycoprotein or fragment. The conjugates are useful as antineoplastic agents. The oxidised glycoprotein portion is pref. prepd. from monoclonal antibodies esp. those which recognise human cancer cells.
