<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance test apparatus capable of quickly and easily conducting complex and enormous performance tests. <P>SOLUTION: The performance test apparatus 102 for connection to electronic equipment 1 during use includes a means for designating the performance which the electronic equipment 1 should exercise and the output data to be outputted by the equipment, a means for requesting the electronic equipment 1 to exercise the designated performance and output the output data, and a means for receiving the output data transmitted from the electronic equipment 1.
