<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter being excellent in flattening characteristics and heat resistance and having an overcoat with little optical anisotropy. <P>SOLUTION: A thermosetting resin solution composition for the color filter contains a compound including at least a kind of substance out of alkoxysilane, silanol and a silanol condensate and an acid anhydride within the identical molecule and an epoxy compound including a group with molecular weight in 70-1,000 range and with a planar structure on a side chain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
