<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an image-structural view of an image similar when image data processed by supposing that the image data are to be printed out in a reference size are printed out in a size different from the reference size. <P>SOLUTION: An input device 11 obtains the image data S0 and an image processing means 12 performs sharpness processing for which it is assumed that the image data are printed out in the reference size L to obtain image data S0'. A processing parameter generation means 13 generates, as a processing parameter P, the parameter of sharpness processing carried out for the image data S0' while assuming that the data are outputted in a print size different from the size L, and a processing parameter imparting means 14 imparts the processing parameter P to the image data S0' to obtain parameter-imparted image data S2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
