PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive helical differential limiting device having a simple structure for realizing generation of differential limiting force and butting of drive shafts by a single member without increasing the number of part items. SOLUTION: This helical differential limiting device is characterized by arranging opposed surfaces (a bottom part of an annular groove 6B and the tip of an annular projection 7C) of side gears 6 and 7 so as to butt a member 8 having a butting part (guide parts 8B and 8C) to opposed end surfaces of the left and right drive shafts, and can simplify a structure by commonly using a member for receiving thrust force between the left and right side gears and a member for receiving thrust force between the left and right drive shafts by one member 8, and can reduce a cost by dispensing with high accuracy by forming small clearance 9 on the opposed surfaces of the mutual side gears, and can obtain large meshing force by increasing the length of a tooth part by minimizing the clearance.
