PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a solid particles-carrying fiber uniformly fixing solid particles on a fiber surface or the fiber surface constituting a fiber sheet while effectively retaining a surface characteristic of the solid particles, and a method for producing a solid particles-carrying fiber sheet, and a production apparatus suitable for producing the fiber sheet. SOLUTION: The method for producing the solid particles-carrying fiber comprises forming a particles-packing layer in which solid particles heated to a temperature not lower than the melting point of the fiber surface of the fiber in which at least the surface is composed of a thermoplastic resin are vibrated, passing the fiber through the particles-packing layer and fixing the solid particles on the fiber surface. The production apparatus is equipped with a packing layer-forming means, a heating means, a vibration-generating means, a fiber-conveying means and a particles-removing means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
