PURPOSE: A structure for assembling a cover of a wall mounted type air conditioner is provided to allow easy assembly, disassembly of the indoor unit cover and easy cleaning of an inside of a main body. CONSTITUTION: A cover protecting components in a main body(10) and forming an exterior of an air conditioner comprises an upper cover(21) and a lower cover(22). An air inlet(12) is formed on a front side of the upper cover. A heat exchanger is bent on an inside of the air inlet and fixed to an inside of the upper cover. A dust filter(11) is placed between the heat exchanger and the air inlet, and fixed to the upper cover. A rotary axis of a fan(14) is placed on an inside of the heat exchanger, and mounted on the inside of the upper cover. An air inlet is formed on a front side of the lower cover. A drain plate(20) is placed on the lower cover under the heat exchanger to collect condensed water. A mounting part(19) is formed on a front lower part of the lower cover to support wind direction controlling blades(18). An air outlet(17) is formed on an outside of the mounting part. The upper cover and the lower cover are joined to each other by hooks or screws. |
