FIELD: mechanical engineering; vertical axial-flow machines with adjustable pitch blades. SUBSTANCE: proposed wheel has housing with turnable blades installed in housing on journals and connected by bolts and ring with housing and turnable mechanism placed inside housing. Turnable blades are made of glass-reinforced plastic, each being fitted in slot of journal. Said slot has base and two sides one of which is made integral with journal and the other, in form of detachable segment. Bolts are fixed by means of ring holding the journal in housing. EFFECT: increased service life of hydraulic turbine, reduced repair expenses. 1 dwg
