PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection circuit which prevents application of an overvoltage or an inrush current, caused by noise components generated at hot plugging-in. SOLUTION: A ferrite bead inductor 5 is provided on the power source line connecting a connector 2, which is hot-plugged in a DC power source 1, to a logic circuit 4 which operates on the power supply from the DC power source 1, and acts as a resistor in a frequency region F of the noise component generated at terminals 2c and 2d of the connector 2 at hot plugging-in. A resistance value R<SB>2</SB>of the ferrite bead inductor 5 is ä1/(2πF<SB>1</SB>×C<SB>1</SB>)} or higher, which is regulated by a pulse frequency F<SB>1</SB>of the noise component generated at hot plugging-in and a capacitance C<SB>1</SB>of a capacitor.
