PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor camera system which can easily designate a monitored color. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a camera, a display 8 for displaying moving images captured by the camera, an image processing portion 12 for switching the moving images displayed on the display to a static image, and a detected color storing portion 34 for storing a detected color designated by a user on a static image. By comparing the moving images captured by the camera and the detected color information stored in the detected color storing portion 34, a monitored object is detected on the moving images captured by the camera.
