PURPOSE: A heat exchanger of a heating/cooling apparatus using hydrogen storage alloy is provided to improve efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat transfer tubes(22) storing hydrogen storage alloy therein, and arranged to be parallel to each other; at least one mesh tube(32) stored in each of the heat transfer tubes to have an upper part and a lower part exposed, and having mesh structure passing hydrogen separated from or joined to the hydrogen storage alloy; supporting members(34) mounted on upper ends and lower ends of the heat transfer tubes and the mesh tubes to keep gaps between the heat transfer tubes and the mesh tubes, and preventing separation of the hydrogen storage alloy from the heat transfer tubes; and radiating members(24) connected between the heat transfer tubes. The supporting member comprises an inside plate(35) having supporting holes(35a) and a tube hole(35b) formed thereon; a mesh plate(36) having latticed fine holes; a middle plate(37) having vent holes(37a) formed thereon; and an outside plate(38) having separating plates(39) arranged to be parallel to each other, all of which are laid in order.
