METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING TELEPHONE DIRECTORY BY USING SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a telephone directory by using SMS(Short Message Service) is provided to make the telephone directory of a mobile terminal stored in the other mobile terminal through SMS. CONSTITUTION: A user searches the telephone directory in his/her mobile terminal(310) and selects a telephone directory transmitting menu at the telephone directory(320). In case that the user is talking over the telephone with the other user(330), the user transmits the telephone directory directly to the other user(350). If the user is not talking over the telephone with the other user, the user inputs the other user's mobile identification number(340) and transmits the telephone directory to an SMS server so that the SMS server can transfer it to the other user.
