FIELD: immobilizing liquid radioactive wastes by solidifying them. SUBSTANCE: method includes concentration of radioactive wastes and their solidification followed by maturing mixture till solid monolithic block is formed. Solidification is made by mixing up wastes with solution of magnesium chloride of 1.2 to 1.35 g/cu. cm specific gravity, magnesium binder, and finely dispersed mineral filler having particle size of 0.005 to 0.015 mm.
