FIELD: military equipment, in particular, firings of fighting vehicle in mountains from a low-ballistic gun at considerable target elevations or depressions. SUBSTANCE: for low-ballistic shells restriction in maximum ballistic range Dmax = D(alphamaxepsilon) is taken into account by comparison of angle of elevation alphaepsilon for the present firing range with angle of elevation epsilon for the given angle of sight alphamaxepsilon, which is determined from expression alphamaxepsilon = alphamax|epsilon=0-0,5epsilon, where alphamax|epsilon=0 - the maximum angle of elevation for the shell of the given type at angle of sight epsilon = 0. The essence of the system for realization of the method consists in the fact that the fire clearance device additionally uses a monitoring unit of the angle of elevation. The mentioned unit consists of series-connected multiplier unit with an inverting input, adder and a comparison element, whose input is connected to the third input of the gun mount, the input of the multiplier unit is connected to the output of observation-sighting system, the second input of the adder is connected to the output of the weapon characteristics unit, and the second input of the comparison element is connected to the output of the unit of external ballistics calculations.
