An organic electroluminescence display panel comprising one or more organic electroluminescence elements each comprising a first display electrode, one or more organic function layer including a luminous layer of an organic compound, and a second display electrode laid in layers sequentially. The display panel comprises a supporting substrate carrying the electroluminescence elements and containing a resin material on the surface facing the organic electroluminescence elements. The display panel has an inorganic barrier film formed at least between the organic electroluminescence elements and the supporting substrate to cover the surface thereof. The display panel includes a region for sealing the resin containing film and the end face of the film.
