<p>An X-ray image tube capable of providing an image of a proper gray level enhanced in contrast without an increase in X-ray irradiation amount. An X-ray absorbed or scattered by an examination subject emits light at an entry surface formed on the inner side of an entry window (14), the emitted light is then converted into electrons on an photoelectric conversion surface, and electrons are accelerated and focused by a focusing electrode (19) and led toward an anode (20) side. Electrons led toward the anode (20) side are visualized by a phosphor (18) to display an image in an X-ray dose-dependent color on a glass sheet (17) with a brightness and a color according to the distribution of an incident X-ray.</p> |
