A medicinal composition which comprises as active ingredients a compound represented by the following general formula (I): (I) (wherein X represents a benzimidazole ring, etc.; Y<1> represents oxygen or sulfur; Z represents a thiazolidinedione group, etc.; R represents hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, etc.; and m is an integer of 1 to 5, etc.) and a fluorouracil antimetabolite or platinum complex. It has excellent cytostatic activity.
