In order to calculate or simulate technical components for use in a technical system, calculation programs are provided for various physical variables which are taken into account from case to case. A preprocessing method is disclosed in order to couple such programs for physically and geometrically calculating one such component, said method avoiding the creation of a tailor-made calculation program for a specific component, while at the same time maintaining calculation quality. The procedural structure of said preprocessing enables modular composition of the calculation process for simulation of any type of component subjected to any type of physical influence. |
