PURPOSE:To simplify operation, to attain appropriate exposure and to take a well balanced pbotographing by providing a means for range-finding plural areas and a dimming control means for evaluating photometric values from the range-finding means and deciding flash light emmitting quantity. CONSTITUTION:Photometory 7 is carried out in the plural areas based on the reflecting light of the flash light projected on the plural areas of an object, simultaneously, each area is range-found by therenge-finding means. Each photometric value of the photometry 7 is evaluated base on the range-finding information, and the flash light emitting quantity is decided in a storoboscope flashing and dimming control circuit. The circuit 5 is made such that each photometry from a photometric circuit 7 is evaluated based on whether each are is in focus or in the deapth of the object or not and that the light emitting quantity is decided. Thus,without carrying out troublesome operations, a main object can be appropriately exposed and a picture well balanced with a background can be taken. |
