Method for operating a linear store (DRAM, 2) by means of a store control unit (MMU) involves periodically up-dating the storage zones of the linear store by a driver circuit (RCU, 6), where only the used storage zones are up-dated. An Independent claim is given for a digital circuit with at least one linear store.
